For decades Dennis has remarked that a clear thinker is willing and able to criticize "his own side" when somebody is wrong or wrongheaded. A while back Dennis called the founder of "Little Green Footballs" one of Dennis' "heroes."
Well ... I wonder if Dennis means to endorse LGF wholeheartedly, or just selectively. Visit the blog and look up Intelligent Design. You'll see post after post of innuendo, ad hominem attacks and naked rhetorical positioning -- not argument, not reasoning, not clarity.

LGF declares a lot of things about this latest fossil, "Ida," proclaiming it a marvelous find ... and apparently is unaware that even the evolutionist scientists have not unanimously declared anything about it as certain.
In other posts, the LGF asserts that Intelligent Design academics have done no research (which is provably false).
As I look at LGF on this issue, I present the question: do we cheer LGF because of its rhetoric about the war on terror, and then ignore its rants in areas of its incompetence?
I'd challenge Dennis to explain why he'd call the polemicist founder of LGF a "hero," when the blog contains these and many other un-reexamined positions and statements.
Dennis, perhaps the best talk host in America, was myopic about George Bush in a similar way. Because Bush took on "the greatest evil of our time," Dennis ignored the 8 years of Bush domestic policies that paved a fertile path to Obama Socialism.
I'd be interested in what fellow Prageristas might have observed along these lines.
