For decades Dennis has remarked that a clear thinker is willing and able to criticize "his own side" when somebody is wrong or wrongheaded. A while back Dennis called the founder of "Little Green Footballs" one of Dennis' "heroes."
Well ... I won...

I cannot think of anything that has really puzzled me because I have not really thought about it much. I have read through it once or twice. It is definitely written from a different age... but wow, what wisdom. I guess the major question mark that affects politics today is Thomas Jefferson himself. There is certainly debate on what his personal beliefs were about things and how that should be interpreted today. I think people have him wrong quite a bit, and even so, I think the whole idea of the constitution is that it was a combination of the founding fathers' ideas, not just one or two.
Hi Richard! Nice list of interests. I can see that if you have listened to Prager since 83, that that may have had its affect on your love of so many subjects. I love learning things and talking about new stuff. What is one thing that you can tell me about the Constitution that most people don't know? Who do you work for, as a persuasive writer? Are you self-employed, or work for a law firm or something? Just curious. Nice to meet you!
I did not see him at the Goldwater Institute, nor did I know he was in town! I would have loved to hear him - thanks for the info and yes, I'd like to sign up for their news list...
